Walk to the nearby
Cameron Village shops, restaurants, coffee shops, underground antique
mall and public library. NC State University is located a few blocks on
the other side of this unique area that was built in the 1950s.
The plan for the Village area was inspired by a similar development in
Kansas City and by early policies of the Urban Land Institute.
Many newer restaurants and clubs are located a few blocks away along the
lower Glenwood Avenue corridor. Just beyond them is the beginning of the
State Government complex including the History and Natural History Museums.
